SBG Fundraiser and Competition

SBG has been struggling quite a bit in recent months; the combination of losses sustained last year with the SBG pro grade line, an ever worsening currency exchange rate (now another 7% down since April alone), lack of stock and low sales volumes at the SBG sword store (where we get the bulk of our sites funding), tax bills eating us alive and seriously low funds now has SBG against the ropes..

Having spent too much time, blood, sweat and tears in the site to just let it go - and still getting emails every day from people thanking me for putting this site up in the firstplace - I need the communties help to get us through this extremely tough month, but as always I don't want to ask for something for nothing..

So we have decided to open up our second '50/50' split donation drive - for every $10 you donate to the site, you'll get one 'ticket' or chance to win half of the total donation amount, to be randomly drawn on the 20th of May. Plus, due to popular demand (and also because we really do need the money right now) there is also an option to do a 'straight' donation to the site, with 100% of the money received going to paying our hosting bills and to fund future projects and developments (all of which have been put on hold since early this year).
