Interactive SBG Swords Guide
- "Find a Sword" System

The SBG Swords Guide 'Find a Sword' system is essentially several years worth of my own personal recommendations to my fellow sword buyers, all condensed down into a 'choose your own adventure' style format available at the click of a mouse.
In it you will ONLY find recommendations of swords that have stood the tests of time and that generally reflect the sentiment of other people who have bought the same sword.
Sure there are newer and more exciting models out there, but it's often a real gamble - and if you don't like to gamble, or if you are one of these people who looks through sword review after sword review and can't make up their mind (with so many good swords on the market these days, choosing the right one for your needs can be tricky - even I find myself doing it sometimes), then this SBG Sword Guide was made specifically for YOU!
"The Quest for YOUR Perfect Sword.."
Simply pick a statement that most closely mirrors what you want from your sword purchase and I'll do my best to provide you with some specific recommendations (of solid 4 and 5 star rated swords) as well a few bits and pieces of helpful information to make your quest for your perfect (or as the case may be 'next') within 2 or 3 clicks of the mouse!
SELECT A STATEMENT THAT BEST MATCHES WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IN A SWORD
I'm looking for a specific type of sword (such as a Japanese Katana, medieval sword, etc) but just not sure what is out there or what the best models for me are. Can you make any recommendations?
I'm after the best and most sharp functional swords for under $300. I don't really care what kind of sword it is, as long as it is nice and sharp for some good old fashioned backyard cutting!
I'm really just looking for a sword that LOOKS good. If it is functional, that's a bonus, but what I am really after is some really ATTRACTIVE good quality display swords.
I don't really have enough money to be fussy.. sub $300 swords are great and all, but how about some really cheap swords, sub $100 or even sub $50?
Even though it is deliberately simple, after being presented with your selections, get informed and simply go with your gut feeling about it. If nothing really 'speaks' to you, have a look through the rest of the site, check out what sword community approved sword sellers have to offer, trawl through the various sword forums or just google it up - that's all part of the fun of the find a sword quest after all!
