Bought 4 of these
Listed as Windlass Steelcrafts, and stage and combat ready.
They are neither of these things.
I run a student reenactment training group for Sir William Godolphin's Regiment of Foote (part of the Sealed Knot society). I took these swords down for training once they had arrived, and 3 highly trained members and myself used the swords for 30 minutes - not full contact, just testing them out. At the end of the 30 minutes, all 4 were unusable. The hilts were looks, pommels were spinning on their threads, and the blades were so pitted that they cut one of the members using them.
When I asked for a refund on them, i was refused, but offered store credit. Why oh why would I want to order anything else from a company that has supplied shoddy and falsely advertised products?
Currently going through Trading Standards in the UK to try and get our money back, and I will take them to Small Claims County Court if need be.
