From my experience, they're decent and the katana I ordered came out well, the only fault was that it wasn't sharpened. (They claimed all their swords were razor sharp)

"razor sharp"
by: Art Copeland

No, their web-site doesn't claim all their swords are "razor sharp", or even plain old "sharp". In fact, the site seems pretty cautious about telling the viewer which edge is which.

bad saya's and bad polish on there 1095 line
by: Anonymous

the blades weren't as sharp as advertised. the laquer and paint on the saya was of the poorest quality. i have purchased 5 swords from them and 2 were crap i tried to send them back and get something of better quality from them and they refused. In my experience with them is one in 5 are good swords. will not be purchasing another!

IGNORE THE SHARPNESS SCALE
by: Anonymous

I have purchased several of my 30 swords from this business and quickly noted the use of words like like "razor sharp",esp. seen more on the $300.00 plus models. I shave with a "straight razor", that is definately "razor sharp". I take the "sharpness" comment with a "grain-of-salt" because , so far, what has been advertised simply has not met what was/is advertised. I like the quality of the swords, the prices, and just do the sharpening myself when the swords arrive.Either get the "sharpness" matter corrected or just not even go there.

Haven't Bought A Sword Yet
by: Miss New At This

Been doing research before really getting into sword buying and I thought the swords here were very impressive, at least in the price range I can currently afford. The photos were helpful, as are the various categories, though I am still not sure the difference between "razor sharp" and "sharp" which is cited with EACH and EVERY sword, as are other educational points.Being 4'11" and 100 pounds, I plan to take it, once I get trained with it, when I walk my St.Bernard. Which means I probably will not get a katana. I place this site as a potential source to do business with. I'll just have to keep looking.

Great sword
by: Peter

I recently ordered a katana of 1095 steel (#356 on their site) from them, and have been pleasantly surprised. This is a quality blade, with a beautiful hamon and sharp ha. The sword reeks of quality, but coming from china, i'm still skeptical of the "true" quality. I'm not sure if they oversee the forging process to the extent that other retailers do. In this case, I'm unaware if these are truly clay/differentially forged. QA issues aside, I really like the blade; it cuts well and looks fantastic, and it came in 4 days which was faster than I expected.
All in all, I had a good experience with them, may do further business.
