Hanzoswords.com........no complaints here!!!!

I have ordered a few swords from these guys and have not had a bad expirience yet. They offer quite a few wallhangers, some Musashi and thier in house brand Hanzo Steel.

The katanas I purchased from them were thier in house Kill Bill swords. Fully functional Bride, Bill and Oren's Shirisaya. I was slightly skeptical at first......but once they came......all that was gone. Very nice construction. Almost exact counterparts to the movie swords and good for light cutting duties. Water bottles, milk jugs and beach mats were easily dismembered by these swords.

Customer service is first rate as is thier shipping. Everything was packed very securely and shipped with the quickness.

While the Hanzo Steel brand is not up there with some of the bigger names.......dont discount it. Take a look, take a swing.......I dont think you will be disappointed.

I ordered the kill bill bride/demon set over two weeks ago and have yet to see the swords or heard a word back from the vendor. I have seen on the site that their customer service is first rate and their shipping is FAST but here I am in week three with no swords. I find it interesting since they are located only 20 miles from my house in Tampa, Fl!! I know the swords aren't a 20k thousand year old nihonto, but still, I want what I have paid for.

This is the third eMail I'm sending regarding my order. We ordered a Greek Fighting Wooden War Sword & Wooden Spartan Shield. We received the shield but not the sword. Please either send the sword or refund the money for that part of the missing order.

Once again, we received the shield but not the sword. If I do not receive a reply soon, I will have to look for other options to get our money back - or the sword.

This is ridiculous! I read internet postings about other people having problems with ordering from your website but overlooked them for the sake of my son's wishes. I will now be forced to add my negative feedback to the site as well as report you to the Better Business Bureau. I'm very disappointed!

It is now December 30, 2009 and we have not received a response NOR the sword. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

To the anonymous poster regarding your bill and bride set it would help if you could have posted your name although Im certaing you received your swords by now. I don't recall you giving us a call or emailing us with an inquairy.

Regarding the lady who only got half of her order, we have refunded her purchase for twice the amount of what she paid for the missing sword.

We responded to each email she sent us up until the last week of december because we were away due to the holiday. We were trying to secure additional sources for the missing item and it has since been discontinued by all manufacturers. She is still welcome to send back the other item for a full refund as well if she so chooses.

I will admit we are not perfect but we try very hard. When you are a high volume seller like us there are some occasional bumps in the road. Feel free to check our ebay feedback hanzo-steel as well as the product reviews on our site. We do not hide bad reviews either if a customer leaves us one.

If you want a good deal feel free to email me. Im more than welcome to haggle on pricing with my customers.

I know ownership has changed at least two times since I started buying from them but every "Kill Bill" sword that has been numbered and signed, I tried to get one. Little did I know the autgraphs would not go on for ever.And did the prices go through the roof. I got lucky, ordered early when I started buying swords due to loving the movie, both parts, and after purchasing about 15 variations of signed swords, "Bill's", the Bride", and even "Bud's". I had no problem with any order, never needed to return or exchange, and still stop by to see what is new. I'd recommend buying from them based on the time sppent buying from them aand quality of what was sold.

Issues With Hanzo Swords

I still have not received any type of Tracking number for the shipment that was to be delivered by FedEx.
Although I have noticed that, on your website, my item has been marked as ‘Shipped’ there is no normal FedEX tracking information that is usually associated with this type of transaction .

Given these unusual set of circumstances, I have to assume that my item has not shipped at all. (FedEX is very good about providing that type of information to vendors and customers.)

It is past the 1-8 day time limit stipulated by your company. I do not intend to have this drag on any further.
Therefore, if the item is not delivered by Close of Business today, September 1, 2010, you can consider this as a demand for a refund of the money that was so promptly taken out of my account.

Since I was so quick to accuse, I want to be equally as swift with an apology.
The item arrived today, about an hour ago actually, and in excellent condition.

Sometimes I forget to consider the fact that I am not ‘the centre of the universe’ and there are others to be considered, as well.

Recently changed from fedex to ups.

MAH I apologize for the confusion with your tracking info. We recently changed from Fedex to UPS and forgot to change that in our shipping details on our website. All orders going forward are U.S. mail mostly for smaller packages and pocket knives and ups ground for heavier packages and swords. Our site has been seriously overhauled recently with hundreds of new items having been added.

I have bought several spring assisted pocket knives from them and never had any problems with their service or their knives.

Anyhoo no company is perfect, every company is bound to make an occasional mistake. It's how they handle those mistakes that should be looked at.

I have googled their site and only found 2 or 3 complaints, this im sure out of thousands or tens of thousands of orders. One site which I will not name had over 500 complaints just on the Better Business Bureau site alone.

Horrible Customer Service - Never Buy Again

I bought a sword from Kevin at Hanzo Swords in October 2010. On 22 Oct, I reutrned the sword without having opened the package because I realized it was the wrong one. I re-ordered the correct sword before the refund was processed. This is where the issue lies. On 11 Nov, I e-mailed Kevin about the refund, but never recieved a reply so I phoned, but there was no answer. So I phoned again. And again. By 19 Nov, I recieved an e-mail from Kevin asking for information about the package which I disclosed, but that was the last I heard. It's now 2011 and after multiple e-mails and phones calls, I have yet to hear about my refund. Kevin's site calls multiple customers thieves and he keeps a record of all names under his "Thieves" page. I propose that Hanzo Swords is the real thief and has neither the intestinal fortitude nor the integrity to answer to customer complaints. I have never been so disappointed in the honor of a company in my life.

horrible company/ nitemare transaction

first, all i ordered was 2 wooden practice swords, 2 days later i get email saying "shipped". after 3 weeks i email to find out where they are, sorry they havent been shipped! what i have a email saying they were. then a week more goes by no swords so another email "got to find another supplier sorry". then 4 weeks in i get a package, ahh finally! no wrong product! guy emails me says sorry about all the delays i have had family problems and a hard week. what?! still no reply on why i have the wrong swords here and how they will fix it. come on enough is enough. refund the money and understand what customer service is. all this over 2 WOODEN SWORDS i would not buy more products. i cant trust them(him). NEVER AGIAN!!!!

I ordered two small pocket knives on the 21 of november 2011. 6 days later not including weekends i got and e-mail saying my order is in que for shipping it is now december 31st. Sever e-mails have been sent and two phone calls with no replies. At the rate im getting very very mad i cant believe i spent the money without checking this site. And after what iv read now id dont think ill ever buy here again. Im going to give it one more week then demand my money back.

Both Mr. Dryden and Mr. Quarles did receive their items. I have just emailed both of them to come here and confirm.

Mr. Quarles was errantly shipped the wrong items but the correct items also showed up the same exact day. The first shipment he received was due to a processing error.

I will be the first to tell you we are not perfect. Who is? If you search for us you will see only a couple of complaints out of tens of thousands of orders we have fulfilled. And out of those we have always made good and or made up for the mistake.

Regarding not answering emails that is never the case currently I have all emails forwarded to my Iphone that pops up like a text message. I answer emails in most cases immediately or as quickly as possible this includes weekends and non business hours.

Im thinking the complaints about emails were before i started doing this and were during holidays or off business hours. In any case I take pride in our customer service it has come a long way thanks to the Iphone.

I have heard good things from my friends about hanzo swords and decided to order the bride 1060 carbon sword from them myself. It has now been a week since I have paid and am getting different answers about whether my sword has been shipped. One e-mail Got said that it will be shipped today or tomorrow, another said that it was shipped last week Monday or Tuesday. What is going on?

In regard to my previous statement, the problem was handled quickly and provisionally by the employees at hanzo swords. There was a lag in shipping info that misguided me. I'm looking forward to receiving the sword I ordered from them. If everything turns out great, I'll be ordering alot more from them in the future.
