is the golden oriole katana of hanwei suited for cuttingpractice

Is the golden oriole katana of hanwei suited for cuttingpractice on waterbottles or tatamis?

ANSWER: Sure thing, it is quite capable. Personally, I think it is better as a functional display sword (i.e. a real sword that is better suited to display purposes) simply because it is one of Hanwei's most attractive swords. However, it is fine for normal usage of a Katana.
