Kaze Ko or Tenchi Ko?

QUESTION: I'm pretty short and drawing / wielding a standard size katana doesn't feel natural to me and so I was looking in to the Ko-Katana range from cheness.. after looking into it and reading your reviews I settled on two swords the kaze ko and the tenchi ko, but funds currently only permit the purchase of one.

I was wondering which sword is better suited for everyday use (cutting tatami mats, bamboo, bottles etc..). I know that they can both handle these tasks easily but I'm curious as to which blade will stand the test of time better?

I'm going to be using the sword quite often so I want one that is durable but still feels quite natural.. I currently use a paul chen katana that's seen better days so i need a replacement..

Thanks

ANSWER: For a high useage blade like you describe, I would recommend the Tenchi Ko - the through hardened blade is designed for high frequency usease.

The Kaze Ko is not all that far behind as a user blade, but it is more suitable for those looking for a traditional blade that will be flexible between display and cutting.

Hope this helps.
