Medieval Weapon Art: selling something they don't have

by ROBERT C GOETZ

My better half thought she would buy me a sword for my surprize birthday party. Well that came and went no sword. Finally I called the company, medieval weapon art. I was informed it would be drop shipped in three months...

Now these things happen, but when I asked why they didn't have it listed as out of stock on there web site, I was told that it "sometimes didn't show up as such". Well if you ask me that's selling something you don't have: NOT GOOD BUSINESS. Now to there credit the person I talked to on the phone was very nice and helpful.

But still...

Not good

Hey Robert,

That really isn't right, but there are a LOT of sellers out there that do the same thing.

The real issue is COMMUNICATION and customer service. On their site, they suggest everything 'usually ships in 1-2 days'...

Quite different than 3 months... And the worst part of it is, they should have contacted you immediately telling your partner that the sword was out of stock and giving her the chance to either change it to another sword or cancel it completely...

Not a fan of 'Mwart' here... (They tend not to answer emails either, rude!)

Bad customer service

I wonder if that is why they changed their company name
