Shipping Policy

Shortly after you have placed your order, I'll send you a confirmation that your order has been received. Should a product be out of stock, we'll notify you of the delay immediately. If that happens (not likely), we will ask if you prefer to cancel your order.

All of our products are usually shipped direct from the manufacturer - normally within 2-3 business days. Of course, preparation lead time will vary according to the current workload and may be shortened or extended by a matter of a day or two. Naturally, as soon as your order has been dispatched I'll send you a second email to let you know and give you an estimated time of arrival.

In all cases though:

Shipping within the USA is ALWAYS absolutely FREE!

For international (non-US) orders, we ship via USPS Priority mail (Cheness) and Canada Post (Darksword). Please note that USPS Airmail size restrictions mean that some Cheness swords (i.e. The O-Katana, 30" Nagasa Katana, Oniyuri and all 29" bladed Iaito) cannot be shipped outside of the USA.

Hanwei swords also cannot be shipped outside of the USA. As the Hanwei swords are only sent by UPS, US orders for Hanwei cannot be sent to a PO box...

Speaking of quotes, Darksword Armoury swords are available to non US and Canadian customers upon request. Cheness swords use the following table, all of which are reflected in the checkout.

NOTE: Orders outside of the US may be subject to local tariffs and duties which we are unable to control. For more information we suggest contacting your local customs office.

Tracking Numbers

If you suspect lost package or have exceeded the maximum estimated wait time for your item, let us know and we will work with you individually to track and locate your packages. Maximum estimated wait times are:

Domestic USA Packages: 10 days from time of order.

International Packages: 3 weeks from time of order.

Please DO NOT request tracking numbers from us via email unless the maximum wait time has been exceeded.

Return Policy

We stand behind every product we sell.

If you are not absolutely pleased with your purchase return it to us within 30 days in the original packaging and original condition via insured parcel post or UPS and we will give you your choice of an exchange or refund (excluding shipping fees).

You must contact us using the form provided above prior to returning any item so that a Return Authorization Number can be issued.

Returned products must be in like-new condition with original packaging and materials. A 10% re-stocking fee will be applied towards your refund.

Please allow up to 14 days for processing of returns.
