Recent brothersmith-swords.com purchase

I've gotten into blades pretty recently. Brothersmith-swords.com had the most affordable, so I bought from them first. The first thing I bought (which was a while ago)from them was a $6 gladius. It was crap, but I got the idea that you need to buy higher to get better.

Last weekend I bought something a bit more expensive-a $40 Scimitar, and it came in yesterday. That thing is AWESOMENESS! It's made out of carbon steel, with a brass and hardwood handle, and it's pretty heavy for a sword (about 5 lb.). It has great balance, and is 32". Best of all: NO "Made in China" engraving that totally ruins everything! In fact, the only unauthentic thing about it is a bolt at the end of the pommel.

I highly recommend brothersmith-swords to everyone, for their great prices and stock (as long as it's the carbon-steel products).

When I posted this review, I didn't really know what I was talking about. This sword does not qualify as a "Real Sword" for 2 out of the 3 reasons: it's not tempered and not full-tang. It came blunt, but when I get an accusharp we'll see how good it really is (it does happen to be able to swing).
