Regarding custom sword
by: Tiffany

The sword I wanted made is a bit complicated. He couldn't do some of it. He was extremely helpful and responsive. I have nothing but great things to say about him. I will definitely buy from him again.

just curious

Tiffany,

I am from Kansas City as well and I'm pretty sure I know the smith you're talking about (the ren faire guy, correct?) Why is he not available? I was planning on contacting him soon regarding some work I'd like done myself. He made a Highlander sword for someone I know some time ago that was very, very impressive.

Hey, thanks for the plug!
For sure, it never hurts to get in touch with me for a quote. I try to be extremely price competitive, keeping my custom works more affordable even than most Albion production models.
Shipping out of Australia is also often cheaper than out of other countries, plus the exchange rate makes ordering from me very competitive.
I offer payment plans, and my completion times are very prompt. Just last month I had a viking sword shipped withing 2 weeks after the initial order was placed. I work full time on these orders and don't muck around with people's investments. I'd personally go nuts having to wait 2 years for a custom sword order.

Anyway get in touch I'd love to hear your ideas!
Brendan

this is the way to do it
by: Ben

Hey, im a young blade smith my self, and although i personaly are not into that kind of sword i know many who are and will give u a good honest price as well as verry impressive work.

go to this forum
http://forums.dfoggknives.com/index.php?act=idx&s=6a2987ba2604617856df2100e7c1e0d3

make an account and post a topic (it seems like work but its pretty easy and will save u in the long run) then you should quickly get replys from smiths prepared to do that kinda work and you will get the most competitive price and if u wanted to you could ask to see what else theyve made in order to trust them. most of the people on there are good people and either way it will be of a verry high quality, no chinese shit or cheap over priced so called "magic steel" just the real deal.

Hope this helps

Ben
