SGC or Tenchi test

QUESTION: On the Cheness Cutlery website the term "battle ready" is used, describing the durability of their strongest swords. SBG struck the edge of a steel pole with the Tenchi resulting in no chipping, rolling whatsoever. Truly amazing!

The SGC can't possibly take this type of abuse, right?

ANSWER: Well...

I think this review of the SGC Katana speaks for itself...

Though of course, destructive testing like this is NOT recommended...
