sword buyers guide store shipping

by Eric
(Maryland, US)

QUESTION: How long will it take on average for one of your swords from your shop take to ship to Maryland in the United States? Thanks.

ANSWER: Hi Eric,

Most of the time shipping in the US takes around 1 week, give or take a couple of days. More information on our shipping policies and ship times can be found here, with lead time of course being dependent on what day the order is placed (i.e, we don't ship on weekend) and the current work load at the warehouse.

Hope this helps.

mashahiro
by: prabs

hi i jus wanna say that i recently brought

a usugi kenshin katana which was described to having a shock obsorbing spine , rc cutting blade

and is 1065 in carbon steel . The sword was labelled as a takeda shingen katana , but looking at the tsuba artwork it has warlord kenshin on there and has leather ito wrap. The make of the sword is by mashahiro . It has been popular in terms of sales ,
the price was 200 dollars
I also have mashahiros ruymon katana which is reviewed on this site as a bamboo mashahiro
and is given 4/5 and is an exellent cutter

my question is this the bamboo katana is 1045 differently forged and cutts exelently

is the 1065 katana more stronger and even with a shock obsorbing spine ?

would you say that this katana is a heavy or mid cutter ??
