Wakizashi or Wind Katana

QUESTION: I have the choice to get either the sgc wakizashi from cheness or the wind katana from musashi, i am looking or a good cutter that can take some abuse, thanks, chris riley.

ANSWER: Hi Chris,

That is a good question - and two very (very) different swords. The SGC Wak is an extremely tough and mean cutter, though it is of course - a one handed Wakizashi.

The Wind is a very nicely balanced and nicely forged Katana - perhaps closer to a traditional Katana.

Both are excellent products. But they are so different, its kind of like comparing apples and oranges - so you really are going to have to go with what your gut is telling you on this one.
