It takes a looooon time..

Sure do - Howard Clark first really came to the attention of the sword community via Sword Forum International in the late 1990s and his L6 Bainite Swords caused quite a stir.

Because of this, and because he makes them by himself, he has a backlog of many years - and ordering a sword from him can sometimes be a bit stressful. There is a submission from one of his customers right here on SBG showing it is not all sunshine and roses. But overall, if you have the patient to wait a few years and can "fire and forget" until it comes it, you WILL almost certainly like the end result.
