straw tamishigiri

QUESTION: Would u have any idea how to make straw tamishigiri targets? Thanks.

ANSWER: Hi Ben,

I've never actually done it - though bear in mind that it is made from rice straw. However my understanding that the principle is not so different from Tatami mats, simply bind them up and soak them.
