the jutte is actually 70 bucks.

the jutte is actually 70 bucks.

Went to mantis, looked over several things and it appears that what may be listed under an item may not be what appears when you proceed to purchase.......they say their importer has raised prices at the beginning of the year (although several of the things we looked at were still at the regular or previus pricing on other reliable sites) however, while they changed the pricing on the item we were considering....apparently they need to go through their site and catch up on all the other items that are marked lower than the actual price.............now, while we found 4 items in about 10 or 15 minutes (like all guys, we are fast shoppers, well....faster than my wife anyway).........and yes, we date-copied the pages in question, to PRODECT(read it with an accent) ourselves in the event they take umbrage.........we are certainly not going to go through their site and find all the errors...........my impression is there may be quite a few............so, don't be shocked if you go there....................HOWEVER, on the positive side, they are having an impressive 30% off sale...........wowy, wow, wow...............................let's just hope the price increases are co-incidental to the sale............humpf.

I bought a katana at mantis swords,it cost abour $900 and when i received the sword in the mail parts were loose and it was put together poorly. "Watch out over at mantis swords" is good advise.

Rusty Swords =BAD BUSINESS
by: J.Fauer Evans

I am an Aikido nidan,I purchased 1 of the Raptor series blades in March 2010,it came to me "new", w/mini rust trails all along the blade, both sides. Which of course progressed rapidly, even after following all "appropriate care guidelines"[and I live in a desert mnt.region,no moisture].It took me til November and 13 calls and multiple E-mails,before they called me back.Yet to no avail. They made a lot of promises never kept, sent me a rusty piece of steel for $300,and been completely dishonorable w/in their buisiness practices. I personally would advise no one else get swindled by these schiesters.

I like Mantis

I have been buying from mantis since they called themselves BSK INC before changing the name with no problems. I've also met the owners and have been to many training seminars with them. They are for real. Call if you like 888-660-9673

They are good

I have bought from them for years, if there was ever a problem it was fixed right away. My most recent purchase was the Raptor in April 2011. It arrived in perfect condition
