Where to find a good dueling saber?

QUESTION: I've looked nearly everywhere and I've yet to find definite evidence of a battle ready dueling saber (pob 3-5in) instead of cavalry sabers (pob 5-7in). Any ideas on this or will I have to go to Europe to find one?

ANSWER: Hmm, good point. I must admit I don't think I have seen one available in the production market. You may need to go custom I am afraid, though if anyone else knows of one - please leave a helpful comment.

if you want to use it for practice of some kind hanwei makes several ok reproductions of 19th century duelling sabres, If you really wanted to I supose you could sharpen them though it would be a good bit of work
